Last year the demand for waste sorting equipment, which can replace imported units, increased dramatically. In November 2022 «RZHEVMASH» machine-building plant completed production of a ballistic separator designed on the basis of documentation, which was obtained through a joint venture with a Spanish partner. Documentation was adapted for production under Russian conditions, and the first ballistic separator was shipped to the customer in December 2022.
Main purpose of ballistic separator is to separate mixed material into two parts: light fraction 2D and heavy fraction 3D. At the same time impurities are removed: fine fraction and sieve. This simplifies the subsequent stages of classification, improves the quality and efficiency of material recovery.
