Finals of collection of flexible packaging in hypermarkets «Globus»

In May we launched the collection of flexible plastic packaging in the chain of hypermarkets «Globus». The pilot project allowed us to draw conclusions on how to improve the design of containers and instructions for the convenience of visitors, and how to better place them on the premises of hypermarkets to improve the quality of the collection of recyclable materials.

According to data for September, we collected 740 kg of raw materials in four hypermarkets «Globus». It was sent to the Tver Polymer Recycling Plant for processing into granules. The first recycling tests showed that granules could be used as an additive in the production of building pins, boxes, furniture, and other products.

The collection in the hypermarkets «Globus» will last until November 10 inclusive, after which the containers will be dismantled, and the collected raw materials will be sent for recycling to Tver. Flexible packaging can still be delivered to the eco-centers «Sfera Ecology», «Sborka», «Pererabotkinskaya» and shops «VkusVill», which participate in the project.
